I have been a fan of this show since it's debut in 2013! Absolutely love the dynamic of the characters. I only wish the writers would have done more to develop Liz's character and keep her on a steady arc. They had her all over the place which resulted in a lot of negative feedback from the fans. Prime example is her departure and how it's being handled in terms of resolution. They knew at the start of season 8 that Megan Boone was leaving and yet they are only giving one episode to focus on her departure? The Townsend storyline should have been resolved at least two episodes ago and the final three could have focused on Liz's next phase in life. Let's not forget that the DOJ has issued a burn notice on Liz which means she's going to be hunted. So, we need plastic surgery, new identity and corresponding documents. What about Agnes? Ultimately the "blame" lies at the feet of the producers who greenlight the writing.
