Went into this film excited to see a classic with such potential. Came out very disappointed. Not sure which movie some of the other reviewers saw but only thing I would agree with is it was visually good but CGI can do anything. Giving homage to the classic Bram Stoker story, the acting was a bit over the top and eccentric. I love Willem Dafoe but even his acting was more theatrical than movie style. Didn't get all the moaning and weird things going on with the lead character either. I was expecting a really scary monster but seemed to get Sloth from the Goonies with a porn mustache and pneumonia. Best part of the movie was I got to spend a couple extra hours with my daughter on Christmas.
