Has a very archaic combat system lacking all the elements that made the previous game the gem it was. I find it especially awful when attempting to target any one enemy in a group, even when a large amount of space is available. The target locking is horrendous and I have seen better in flash games.
Furthermore the skill focus on solely the venom portion of the game which was my least favorite aspect. The combat lost many parts of what I found fun, because of the over reliance on that one technique.
Most importantly it lacks the fluidity that made its predecessor one of my personal favorites. It seems to want to target random enemies like a slasher. This is fine on lower difficulty levels but on the highest it becomes a nuisance with no viable solution.
