Siddhi Om

I really have been watching most of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movies but off late much of the portrayal of his projection is immensely dense and heavy and sometimes way too offensive and that really does not set in well . Heeramandi felt like some copied version of great movies like Pakeezah , Anarkali etc which had great classy essence of projection. In spite of all the grandness, good actors, vast sets ( that’s always been in most of his movies ) I could barely watch couple of episodes as it just gets overwhelming, dragged and boring . Do not intend to watch the rest as I did not feel the connect . I wish we see Sanjay Ji creating something light and lively . Overall watching Heeramandi seemed like watching an estranged entertainment for the brain where good stars come in as a whiff of respite.
