Some of these reviewers are surprised at the negative reviews? Did we watch the same thing? Just crazy… This show was downright awful. *** A true zero out of ten *** I’ve seen other Cirque shows (La Nouba in Orlando and Alegria in Vancouver) and they have truly impressed. My wife and I got tickets to this one as a gift and after watching it we had to check to see if it was a knockoff of Cirque or something; it was painful to sit through. The comedy was cringey like a 3rd rate kids show. The acrobatics were largely unimpressive and not unique (like Cirque typically is). The theme and costumes and lighting style and music were all shabby and disjointed. Some parts were so bad that for the first time in my life I felt like actually booing a live performance and walking out. After the ridiculous Romeo and Juliet sequence I saw my wife shaking her head and heard her say “just horrible” which I think summed it up nicely. I appreciate that the performers are talented and work hard, but those who wrote, designed, and produced this show need new lines of work. Sandwich artists maybes…
