I really loved the setup and scenery of this. This show was good. Great. I admit that I cringed a whole lot in the beginning (they started crying, confessing their souls and saying "I love you's" within one or two days of knowing each other, like what??) and I honestly didn't expect to keep watching, but there was just something that kept me rapt in the story. I don't believe love is blind but I wanted to see who worked out and who didn't.
*SPOILER* In the end, only two of the six couples got married (one couple didn't even last their first day together after meeting) -- which was a shock because I expected Kenny and Kelly to get married, like duuude he's such a great guy. I didn't expect Amber and Barnette to get married but they did (don't think they're going to last long, but what's life without a little drama?). I knew Jess and Mark weren't going to make it, and I had reservations about Lauren and Cameron but they got married too, so I'm super happy :)
One concern of mine is that WHY THE HELL do these people go to the weddings just to say no at the altar?? Like Jess and Mark, she seemed so sure, telling the dude that she loves him, smiling excessively despite knowing she wouldn't get married to him. Honestly that hurt a lot even though it wasn't me...poor Mark. As for Damien and Giannia, I'm glad he said no. I feel like he really dodged a bullet there.
It's a great show, I definitely recommend it (maybe I'm so sure about my recommendation because it's my first reality show...lol). It has some good soundtracks too! Give it a watch if you want something to binge.
