Genuinely the worst movie I’ve probably seen. Sucks because the cinematography was great, with the colors, lighting play and camera work to shift focus and mood (except for this really bad transition from a car window to tree tops I felt that lasted too long and was too awkward) I’m going to be brutally honest , the acting skills are great. But it just genuinely sucks so much how STUPID they made the lead. Zero survival instincts, 0 IQ, zero situational awareness, zero logic, zero strategy. When this guy comes around she hangs up the phone??? She doesn’t think to call the police in an area with better service? It took multiple multiple harassments for her to finally call. And even then she just fails to do anything to save herself When she finally escapes she runs on the conventional path?? Tell me how many ways are there to run in the woods…. And HE HAPPENS TO RUN RIGHT AFTER HER WITHOUT SEEING HER, becuase she RAN ALONG THE PATH SHE DIDNT GO TO THE ROAD SHE DIDNT GO BEHIND SHE RAN ALONG A PATH. If you want to yell at a screen, make yourself mad, you can watch this movie. And I feel bad for writing this becuase I know it isn’t easy making a movie, and again the camera work, quality, sounds, everything was so great except for this plot, except for the lead character. The damsel in distress thing has been twisted in a terrible way.
