I am deeply disappointed with the narration of the audiobook The Singularity is Nearer. The narrator's monotone delivery is detracting from the content and ruining my experience with this great book. Joe Rogan suggested that an AI-generated voice of Ray Kurzweil would be ideal, and I completely agree. Despite being only 50 minutes in, I'm already frustrated to the point that it's hard to focus on the material. As a longtime fan of Ray Kurzweil, I've eagerly awaited a new book from my favorite futurologist to see how he expands on the profound ideas in The Singularity is Near. Unfortunately, the lackluster narration is a significant barrier to enjoying this highly anticipated work. That book made an impact that I still feel a decade after reading it.
