A great book, interesting historically, 3 lads at same school but 3 very different characters and diverse attitudes. Their stories intertwining through the background of the Spanish civil war and aftermath. Very descriptive of the life in Madrid in that time, I found the ending disappointing, rushed and unnecessarily brutal with the twist at the end. A very good read in though.
