Well, of course it's a men are pigs/women are victims show, but if that hate bothers you, you have nothing to watch almost anywhere, so get over it.
Focus on the non-bigoted aspects: well done depiction of time and place, interesting plot, solid acting.
Enjoyable, even if you're not a gender bigot.
