What a train wreck! I waited a long time to see this and then couldn't wait for it to end. The visual effects saved it from being a 1-star but only barely. It felt like a collage of different movies and I almost lost it when Tarak knelt before the griffon-thingy... Harry Potter anyone!?!? And the similarities didn't end there - It was quite comical. We've entered a time when a good plot and memorable characters are an after thought to a movie's special effects. In some cases they are good enough to make a difference. Not this time. There were too many plot holes and boring script elements. And, the characters were forgettable. Could have been great.
