To give you a good Idea about the game I think you need to know a little about me. I am 33 years old and grew up playing Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time. I dabble in many game styles but Zelda has always been one of my favorites.
Breath of the Wild is a fresh start to something old. The open world gameplay is nice though you are left with a bit of misdirection at the start. Once the game gets going you are able to immerse yourself into the game. The graphics are amazing along with the music/SFX. The controls are above average. I think they could use some adjusting but I am also using the original Joy Cons. There are many hidden gems in this game that make it feel like a real adventure. It is worth the play and the money you spend in this game you will invest 10 fold.
The few issues I have with the game are rather simple but keeps it from giving it a 5 star. One though it is a open world game I do not like the horse riding and honestly find it useless. Sometimes you will need your horse but your not close enough to where you left it so then you have to go find it... The second point was when I finally did beat the game... That was it. I couldn't keep exploring. I also didn't get a real sense that I actually saved anything after all that time. Last thing is the durability of the weapons and armor. My are they annoying...
All in all a great game well worth the money. It will last the test of time and believe it beats the last few Zeldas by miles. The few annoying things are easily overlooked with this great action RPG.
+Great Graphics
+Great Sound
+Good Controls
+Good Story/Adventure Scape
-Poor Sense of Accomplishment
-Lack of better ways to travel to increase the adventure aspect
-Constant changing of weapons and armor (Literally all the time) Zelda is a walking armory
