I do not understand the hate for this show.
The script is great - the cinematography is great - the acting is great - and it's all building to a lovely twist in episode 6 (apparently).
There's a great feel to the show. The noir elements and the opening titles of Edward Hopper-style images - a great show with great touches.
I hope the people who can't see its quality don't get this show canceled.
I am sure that John Sugar is an unreliable narrator - How? We don't know yet. Is he a vampire? He seems to be trying to be someone - trying to be a real person.
I get the feeling that the type of people who dislike this are the same people who think cartoon superhero movies for adults are amazing.
I am looking forward to the next episode and how this series continues.
