The title of the book made me wanted to read it from a long time and finally I did. I had always heard that the brain is active for some time after a person dies and this book gave so much details about it. How the brain recalls the life within a span of few minutes after death. It is an interesting for people who value life, lessons, experiences and friendship. Elif Shafak got me hooked to the book just like I was hooked to the forty rules of love.

This was the first ever autobiography that I read, and I totally loved it. The book tells that it’s all about the idea and hard work for success. How two people who didn’t even like each other at first ruled the United States together for two whole terms. Its about the firm belief one should have, on themselves and on their partner. We believe that we, the Pakistanis or Indians get badly treated but its not so. The African American community gets treated the same as well. Being born in that very country, being a national they get judged just on the basis on their skin color. But these two people, Michelle and Barack, broke the barriers of judgement and racism and made their way to the white house. From two people working in a law firm to the first family. The journey was interesting to read and take lessons from. Lessons of encouragement, belief, love, priority, understanding, commitment, sacrifice and much more.

A book that will make you stop, think and focus on the more important things in life. It gives great lessons on how a person may spend his life doing the work he loves, earn a lot of money, be a famous personality and yet not be fulfilled and satisfied with himself and his life. This book teaches many lessons on how to find inner peace and how to make the most of life in the best way, living with a feeling of fulfilment. This is the second book by Robin Sharma that I have read, many more to go.

You know all those things that are said not to be discussed in our society? This book discusses all of them, with a pinch of salt. All the stories perfectly describe the many such encounters people face in their lives. The judgements, comments and unsolicited advices one receives about his life is elaborated well here. I don't think I had read a book before this to which I could relate so much. I will totally recommend my friends and followers to read this one, you will laugh and you might also learn some lessons.

If I have to read a motivational book, Robin Sharma is my pick without a doubt. In case of mystery, Dan Brown it has to be; and when it comes to a love story, its @colleenhoover hands down. Its never more than a week that I take to finish a book written by her. They just keep me hooked; so did this one. The story of a young girl growing up in difficult situations and turning out to be a strong one. How she falls in love and how she lets her guard down to a man she didn’t expect to, this story broke my heart at a point but I kept reading in hopes of a happy ending. Was it? That you have to find out by reading this one!

Some books are an emotional roller coaster, this was one such book. It made me happy, sad, angry, excited; all in one. The story was gripping from start to end and it was realistic. It was not a dream like love story but a story where a woman takes rightful life decisions and the man understands that. It was because of the hype that I had decided to read this one but I have no regrets at all because this book has many little lessons about relationships and marriage too.
