When Erin Perrine lied about Trump conceding the 2020 election, the action of pretending to look for a non-existent tape was ridiculous. Instead of clarifying the nuanced statements by Trump, acknowledgng Biden was president, Bill Maher tried to turn it into a comic moment, which fell flat.
