Myself and my husband are 1/3rd into the series. Glad we stuck through the first 15 min of getting used to watching a series in foreign language with subtitles. The visuals, the richness of the ancient Chinese culture/ civilization, sensibilities and the balance the characters portray, variety in each cases, intrigue in plots, acting etc makes it an compelling and interesting watch. Will recommend it for folks who love a good drama and want to explore a different cultures.
