Man, Shrek is just one of those movies that never gets old. I swear, no matter how many times I watch it, it still hits the same. The humor is top-tier, the characters are unforgettable, and the soundtrack? Absolute bangers. Like, the second All Star starts playing, you just know you’re in for a good time. Shrek and Donkey’s friendship is peak comedy—Donkey was carrying the entire movie with his one-liners. And Lord Farquaad? Easily one of the funniest villains ever, even though he was barely five feet tall. The way this movie made fun of classic fairytales but still had so much heart is why it’s a masterpiece. And that ending with I’m a Believer? Perfect way to wrap it up. The animation might not be as fancy as today’s, but honestly, that just adds to the nostalgia. Shrek isn’t just a movie; it’s a cultural reset.

Quite Dissappointed with Chandramukhi 2😓 Chandramukhi 1 was produced with top actors like Rajini, Jyothika, Vadivelu & Nayanthara. The movie was such a hit because of each of these AMAZING Actors/characters and their acting skills. The audience expect such actors in a sequel which was not given. I think the movie would have been a real flop if Vadivelu wasn’t acting in it. I personally only continued watching after he appeared on screen. What Directors need to understand when making sequels of such Blockbusters is that the cast should be ON POINT. The audience don’t want to ruin the core memories & horror that Chandramukhi 1 gave us. Still to this date I think Chandramukhi 1 left very high standards in Indian cinema. Honestly, this version really ruined the whole horror & excitement of the movie. Talking about the Roles • Vettaya Raja : A vital role played by Rajini CANNOT be replaced by anyone. He is the only actor who could portray that role & I don’t see anyone else doing justice for the role. Lawrence is a good actor in general but not for a role as huge as this. • Chandramukhi : Kangana was great but Lakshmi wasn't wasn't a good match. The makeup in the last scene where Chandramukhi reveals her true self wasn’t at all impressive. It was so staged. The makeup didn’t look at all natural. Jyothika set the standards so high for this role & honestly nobody can play this role as well as her. • Gunasekaran (The Lover) : The actor portraying this role is expected to be a unique Charismatic Male, which wasn’t the case. Overall the Lighting in the movie was too bright in the horror scenes which didn’t make any impact on the viewer. The story lines weren’t a match either. I would rate this movie a 2/10👎🏾
