Very dark album like Black Celebration. Cohesive. Great production. Dave’s voice in clear with little effects. You can listen to it on a loop. The last song goes smoothly into the first song. I love that. Memento Mori = ATMOSPHERE!!! …..which people say has been missing since Alan. They build walls of sound at different points in the album that are really good. I am excited. Going to see them in New York City soon What is surprising is that all of the songs are very short. I look forward to extended versions. Standout: Wagging tongue, People Are Good & Always You Caroline’s Monkey feels out of place. This maybe should have been a b-side track.
