The adroit quotes from Blake, Keats, Dickinson and others only validate his points. Lyra, and Will prepare us for the final outcome of this re-working of Milton's Paradise Lost. We the readers are riveted to the edge of our seats, forgetting the flux of time. All other fantasy novels will henceforth be judged by the Pullman's benchmark. Happy reading!
