I stopped watching Shetland one through seven at season 4. Sullen characters dark. Season 8 of 9 fresh up a lot of the story lines and the characters have a glimmer of humour there a little more interesting. I do miss Mr Bonner! I understand that they want to play the landscape as Stark, but where are the Shetland ponies, where are the sheep? It is part of the culture why not portray it? Some editing in those episodes would be helpful they drag on way too long .

I completely enjoyed Jack Wright, binge the episodes and didn't mind the cliff hanging ending at all! Hope it goes to season 2, John Sims was terrific and good to see Gemma Jones!

Really. A hand job on a horse. This is a low point .

I struggled to stay with the first episode to the end. Predictable plot, angry and manipulative chacters...haven't we seen this all before?

I miss the tight dialog. The edge is gone.
