The movie is about Muslims who demanded partition at any cost. They got freedom and left India. But this does not represent Indian Muslims who continued to live here, because Indian Muslims neither fought for partition nor wanted it.
Unfortunately, the director failed to clarify that the story is about those who insisted on partition, and instead tried to paint all Indian Muslims in the same light. That is misleading and unfair—shame on the director for this distortion.
