The movie itself was definitely incredible! It doesn’t portray the Japanese soldiers accurately in my opinion. For the most part, from what I hear from the older Korean generations, they were all pretty much just cruel, heartless, racist to any non Japanese. A lot of this mentality was due to how their own government treated them and also just knowing most of them were not going to leave the war alive
