Wendland's book, originally intended for Bible translators, is also a great resource for teaching all Bible students how to analyze the Psalms. It is detailed and those that know Hebrew will benefit the most, but the vast majority of it is accessible for English-only Bible students, including undergraduates. If students have access to reverse and traditional interlinears, they will learn even more. The exercises are excellent. After following the guidelines in this book, students of the Psalms are prepared to read commentaries with maximum benefit.
