Having watched this series for the second time I can only say it was as wonderful and fantastically acted as I had remembered . Kenneth Brannagh is undoubtedly one of our finest actors and will to me be forever remembered as Wallender ,a troubled lonely yet kind man ,played with such pathos by Brannagh . The last episode was heartbreaking and I must admit I shed a tear or two and was left wishing for a different ending as one sometimes does after reading a book. I thoroughly recommend this wonderful set of 4 series ,you will not regret it .

Mesmerising performances from all actors ,really draws you in to a totally different type of drama . The darkly humourous aside stories concerning Ronny are so well acted that I'm beginning to really feel for him and have started to worry about him, showing what a brilliant actor this young man is . Cannot wait to finish this series ,please let's have more .
