I couldn't stop reading the book ,until the very end . The characters drew me so much. The book tells the bitter reality , but in a brave, humorous and emotional way. A commendable work by Kathryn stockett. The book sheds light on the lives of black women's of 1962 Jackson ,Mississippi. The different relations of the white and black people of that time , and struggle of being independent women.
