55 million is not a huge budget these days, and looking at the trailer(s) I think that the production team have done a bang up job. I have yet to see the movie(time restraints, I am crew on a production shooting now) but I am intensely looking forward to it, I am a big fan of Joaquin and Todd, though hangover trilogy felt a touch dark and I guess this is an obvious extension of that darkness. I hope there will be more Joker stories in the same vein but not like Deadpool, I also think Marvel have stagnated and DC need to fill that void. BTW, shooting in the UK is beginning to be cheaper, and we have Pinewood etc.....
