1) So many bots loaded in these reviews with the same reviews word for word its annoying as all hell.
2) The movie pissed me off to no end. Having just read the book and going right into the movie, I was instantly caught seeing all the things that were incorrect in the movie, that did not happen in Cline's novel. It is almost as if they used the book to make the first 10% of the movie and then filled in everything else. I could go on and on listing everything that was wrong in the movie. Not only that, but I personally felt that the book set a perfect script for a movie to follow, and that a screenwriter and director could follow it nearly scene for scene taking out a few things to make the story move a little bit quicker. No need to rip almost everything out of the book, especially all the important pieces that make the story in itself.
3) The movie was alright, with the CGI impressive for the scale it is, but it was overall a predictable coming of age movie
TLDR: All in all not horrible, but hard to look past the glaring misdirection the movie takes from the book which makes it unenjoyable for me the viewer.
