It wasn't made for critics but for fans of the series. I was happy with it after waiting years for it to come out and I was happy with the Easter eggs they had in it. The actors were amazing (including youtubers) it also doesn't need to be a gore fest to be a good horror movie. There was multiple times where seeing the characters I loved as a child move scared me. If you don't like it that's fine because it wasn't made for you. It's fnaf, the lore is supposed to be confusing.
