I couldn’t connect to the screenplay. It’s Ramayan, it’s Ram, it’s Sita, it’s Lakshman and Hanuman. The story we’ve heard millions of times. Why would we want to watch it again? The movie failed to carry the vibe. It’s kinda incomplete (can’t expect a 3 hr movie to portray every aspects) but definitely lacked in presentation. Kriti’s selection as Sita was yet another bad decision. We have only seen her as carefree modern kinda girl in Mimi, Baraily ki barfi, luka chupi. Sita is calm, sweet, poliet and yet self esteemed. The innocence for which we know Sita, couldn’t see the same in Kriti. Mrunal would have been better choice.
