I read most of the graphic novels. Everything happens out of sequence in the books. I think the show is trying to put the events in order and to make sense of everything. Since it’s a graphic novel, the dialogue will seem hokey. They probably could have gotten better actors, but they are doing essentially the same things they did in the books. It seems less dark and twisty than the books too—too light. Anyway, worth watching. Would like to know what Joe Hill or Gabriel Rodriguez think of it or how involved they were.
