First Frieda McFadden book I read on a wimb after getting a Barnes & Noble gift card and this was a great thriller! I enjoy its simplicity and twists. I did have my own theories throughout which one led to be true, but still a very good read.
I am usually one who reads epic fantasies, sci-fi, or horror like Stephen King and Dean Koontz, but I found a lot of common themes specifically with Dean Koontz always ending on a religious experience type note.
I gotta say this is more my pace for mystery thriller. I was about halfway through the second Mistborn book and needed a break and this was quite refreshing. Can't wait to check out more of her work!
