I was intrigued at first, but then it became banal. I hoped it would be genius, but it was just over budgeted. Fight scenes were horrible, silly, almost comical. The sci-fi was barely there. Acting was superb, but talent cannot fix poor writing. I wanted this to be good, ended up fast forwarding a lot of the scenes. I loved the books. I don't love this series.
