This is a very realistic "wakeup call" about a possible Defcon 1 situation. And overall, well-edited. But the fact that its ending was NO ending whatsoever, undermining every powerful aspect of its potential! If at the end, the POTUS (a former NBA star and obviously a statement regarding the unsuitability of an inexperienced and unqualified elected celebrity individual to decide the fate of the word—a moment in which we are now) said, "STAND DOWN," the implication would have been powerful and not only well-interpreted, but still leaving that ambiguity of what actually happened. Sadly, amateurish writing and judgment on the part of the writers. Really missed an opportunity here!

There are so many WWII movies, poor ones and greats one. There are the graphically horrific ones like "Saving Private Ryan," but none that have left the impression upon me of exactly what the psychological horror of war truly is. This was the embodiment of "man's inhumanity to man," and the searing price one must pay to pave the way to a better world, regardless of the immediate personal cost. That such a person could exist, and thankfully, many of them—we are free. For the moment.
