Here’s the realest review you will get. The movie starts off a bit rushed …. The franchise is clearly pandering to a younger audience, the acting is so/so, the most annoying character is Andy he’s like a real life Morty from Rick and Morty then goes all AI sociopath then back. Other weak point is how fast the aliens morph (it’s lightning speed) The story line pretty much follows every other alien movie and still brings the edge of your seat, jump scare, gross out sci-fi you could ever ask for. The movie also has some twists that shake up the routine and leaving you guessing how it’s going to end. I went in with the attitude it’s going to be a woke cash grab like every movie lately, however it is a great movie i would rank it 3rd or 4th in the whole canon franchise. The movie even connects the prequels and other mythos subtly and not overpoweringly while even throwing some homage to the other films. See it in theaters if you can weakest part of the movie is the last baddie in the ending and the ending was kinda ehh and fell a little short of all the awesome parts before it Great movie in terms of easily will rewatch, and feeling like your money was well spent, and the entertainment value is not earth shattering but well above par from the last few years
