Great Movie. Beautiful and strong black women who showed strength and fortitude. Many may look at the slave trade mention in the movie. But they destroyed the trade in the portion of the movie. Let us not demean a movie because it portrays a negative part of history. Instead let’s think about their triumphs and as the song mentioned. Rise Up to better ourselves, and that’s everyone.
