The Balboa Theater in SF’s Outer Richmond District hosted a Hitchcock fest over Memorial Day weekend. I asked my husband which Hitchcock flick I should go see. His mum worked in the movies back in the day and she took him to the movies as a kid. He said without hesitating “North By Northwest”. Every scene kept me on the edge of my seat - the crop duster one, the train ride, the chase down Mt. Rushmore - down to the very last seductive scene with the film’s femme fatale - Eva Marie Saint.
