playing cavalry is really fun. i still don't know why people send me death threats tho. talking about not being a horsey boi: combat can be very one sided. if some one knows how to swing acell or drag and you don't then its pretty much game over. most of the time it makes the game look nonsensical as you can have a polearm (halbeard/spear etc etc) and make it swing faster then a knife. unfortunately there is no real damage "sweetspot" so even at the start/end of animations your basically doing full damage. (witch as you can imagine irl you need to reach peak momentum for any swings to be truly effective. just watch people like knights errent/mettatron/skallgrim/shadaverity. to have any context on what real medieval duels would be and how to use weapons in said duel) many many ex Chiv fans will fight tooth and nail to say this mechanic is perfect with no flaws... i still get death threats.
