What is this movie...? Just watched this with my wife,... gonna be honest it's a very strange choice.... This movie, and the first one would have been alot better if it wasn't attached to Batman in any sort of way. None of these characters are any resemblance to the origins and none of this feels true to the nature of Joker or Harley Quinn... Again it's an extremely odd choice. These movies feel more like an attempt to do something extremely artsy fartsy and it completely misses the mark. It seriously feels like Joaquin and Gaga are only in this to have bragging rights for playing these characters and thats it! While the writing does nothing to honor the original characters in anyway. If you're going to do something like this and stretch characters out in an "original" and "artististic" way.... especially if these characters are already from a beloved series like batman... then you should have probably just made an original concept to begin with... This movie is terrible... the first one was terrible... and I don't understand why people like this so much... stop supporting this garbage! The Joker should be "HA HA HA I'm the Joker!" not "Boo hoo hoo, I'm the Joker, feel bad for me." Not to mention it's a musical... musicals are supposed to have songs that are memorable and catchy... the songs in this are just as bad! Neither catchy or memorable... Cringy is how I would describe them actually. If your gonna watch this... just try to forget that its related to Batman.... at least that will make it somewhat watchable. But it's still very odd, even if you did that! It really feels like the writers all got together and said "Hey, why don't we try to make the worst possible set of movies we possibly can about this guy.... people will like that right!" Hollywood is so out of touch these days.... ughh... The only enjoyable thing was the twist at the very end... (Which I won't spoil) but God that was terrible too! By the end of it I was cackeling like the Clown Prince of Gothem myself! It's both the best and worst part of the entire thing! My wife was yelling at the screen and everything! LMFAO! HOW DID YOU GUYS MAKE A JOKER THAT IS WORSE THAN JARED LETO!!!! Don't waste your time with this.... If you want to see a musical go watch Wicked... If you want to see a villian's origin story go watch The Penguin on Hulu... Don't support this!

This show is absolutely fantastic. I love the Sengoku Period and have always thought that it would be perfect for T.V. Now it is finally here! The show is about Yoshii Toranaga (A.K.A Tokugawa Ieyasu) and his rise to power. As well as John Blackthorne (William Adams) who serves Yoshii Toranaga and the Protestant/Catholic war in a Japanese setting. It's epic raw rugged and dirty in every way that I love. I just hope it opens up an opportunity to explore more of the Sengoku period because there is a long list of characters I would love to see on screen. Oda Nobunaga is my dude, Takeda Shingen was a monster and I'm sure everyone would love to see the Black Samurai Yasuke! Please for the love of all things holy, make more! This is a great show. The whole cast is amazing and the crew who have worked on it have really made something special. If you like the political dramas of house of dragon and game of thrones with a brutality on another level this show is for you.
