As a child of immigrants, raised in a diverse community, surrounded by rich cultures and sueñitos, this movie resonated with every part of my being. I have watched it so many times, I listen to the soundtrack daily. I laugh. I cry. I reflect. Everyone can connect to some part of this movie, whether you’re latinx or not.
