as a young adult, this movie hits deep. it sounds crazy to connect with an inanimate shell on a screen, but this documentary makes marcel feel very real. the whole documentary gives you warm fuzzies and laughs as well as it dives deep into grief. as an original fan of marcel the shell when he first started, i am so glad to have seen such a creative movie based on his life, documentary style. jenny slate’s humor is always so clever and meaningful. loved this movie.
