The story felt authentic with well rounded characters and an interesting plot. It touched upon important issues with nuance and refreshing humor, which is surprisingly rare. The actors were amazing in their roles, especially Ravi Kishan.
I absolutely loved the attention to detail and cohesiveness of the art direction in this film. From the starting title sequence to the illustrations in the end credits, everything felt rooted in the aesthetic of rural India in the early aughts.
