Honestly, I thought I’d be the only one to appreciate Flow, so I was happy to see from the reviews how others loved the movie as much as I did.
The themes are large, vacillating across the gamut of bravery, trust, wisdom, fear, covetousness, sorrow and most significant, love.
As a bit of a misanthrope, I found the absence of human life refreshing, the ambient environments are rich like a denis villeneuve film, with dynamic pacing offering an introspective and contemplative vantage point through the optics of the characters without a single word uttered. I’ve already watched Flow four times in the theater. I give it a 100% rating💯. gints zilbalodis deserves best director honors and Flow, best picture.
