Mark Hecht

A low key , really funny and warm movie about a son and father and their recent loss of their mother and wife. Dean is a Brooklyn illustrator who is a bit lost in life and definitely an underdog. Goes out to California and meets some very interesting friends and potential girlfriend. The director, Demetri Martin and Kevin Kline, as his father are excellent. Gillian Jacobs, is also great. Really plays up the differences of LA and NY, aka, Woody Allen and really holds up as a realistic and warm movie. Give it a try. A real underdog of a movie and it WINS!
