While I was a bit hesitant at first because of all the f and c bombs -not a fan of that type of language, I got drawn in by the characters, some of whom I’d recognized from Britbox. I liked the show, lots of twists and turns, but it was the characters who made it. Some things were a bit far fetched, but what cop show doesn’t have a couple things that make you say “really???” The last episode was killer and I sure hope they have a season 2. And also, I’m a sucker for most every Brit or Scottish cop/detective show. Great show

I found the first episode and a half just boring and so full of f-bombs and vulgarity. I wish we could have some censorship and get some true humor back on tv. It’s really rare today to find something that‘s both witty and tasteful. Well, guess it’s time to read more…

I’m sorry to say I wasted 6 hours of my fleeting life to watch this show. Obviously I didn’t pay attention to the bad reviews. I did think the acting was decent, unfortunately it was wasted on a story line that was so fractured and jumpy it really left me wondering when they were going to divulge a solid plot. There were so many loose ends that just never had any resolution. I too, kept pausing during the last episode, slowly, sadly realizing this plane was not going to land and once again I’d been duped. I wouldn’t have been surprised if it was American telly, but Britbox??? 😕Come on, I KNOW you can do better than this!

I LOVE this show so much. I thought Season 8 might be lacking because my beloved Jimmy Perez is gone but the writing of this show is SO well done. Tosh has stepped up and shines as temporary boss. She’s really matured into her role over the years on the show. The stories and backstories are always intriguing. Wish it had 52 episodes a year, lol. Oh, and the scenery? Gorgeous - wild, rough, just beautiful.

The movie started out Luther-like enough, then came an overload of cringeworthy human ugliness and evil that kind of made my stomach churn. But with Luther one can’t be too surprised by that. It was the last 20 minutes of the movie that gave it three stars. I mean, the unbelievable way John wrangled his way out of some extremely torturous treatment- it should’ve been a Superman movie, not to give too much away. It became like a bad car crash, although it was awful,I couldn’t tear my eyes away, I had to see the axis of evil get eliminated. I gave it three stars because I love John and I love Schenck, and it’s not their fault the writing was way over the top. I’ll always watch, but really, this ending was way too unbelievable. Entertaining though- definitely.

I’m annoyed with myself that I got sucked I into losing 8 hours of my life waiting for unrealistic hijinks to have a solid ending. Should’ve known better at my age. 👵🏻👎🏻👎🏻

This was one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. I mean, what was the point of it?? To show what a terrible mother/wife/person she was?? I watched it because I’ve seen Olivia Coleman in so many good roles it never occurred to me that she would be in something so terrible. I kept waiting for something redemptive to happen but it never did. The acting was very good, it’s a shame all that talent was wasted on a film that brings nothing of value, in my humble opinion. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m sorry Lord that I wasted 2+ hours of my life on this movie, and during Lent no less…😕Don’t waste your time people. I’d give it zero stars if that was a thing.
