An absolute fun watch that I find myself coming back to every few days. This show had such a great production and impact that it fueled my passion for skateboarding and encouraged me to get myself a board and enter the SK8 scene. You can easily tell it was made for love and appreciation of the skating culture instead of just being another cash-grabbing anime. The cast are lovable characters (except Adam #AdamH8rForever), and each have their own interesting styles when it comes to skating, as well as endearing dynamics and interactions with one another. Personally, I found Reki's sentiments and overall character arc to be very realistic, as it truthfully portrays the brutal reality of being a skater. Some can find themselves to be like Langa when they get on a board for the first time, but I definitely relate more to Reki--which definitely did not impact my appreciation and infatuation with that little guy (sarcasm). Love the show, love Reki, and absolutely can't wait for the second season.
