Thought I would hate this but nothing could be further from the truth. Superbly scripted and brilliantly acted throughout it is both very sad yet also uplifting dealing with a tricky subject it has excellent pace never dull and a real desire to stay with it . Even the abusive partner is portraid with more than the usual stereotypical view of abusive males. Whilst not having much sympathy for him you at least get some insight into his awful behavior. It's refreshing to watch something without it having to resort to the usual diet of sex and violence. A must watch.
