I only just started watching the show now for about 2 weeks. I found it by accident and fell in love with it. Before I had to retire due to failing health, I was a mechanical engineer for a safe company. I appreciate the effort to restore and repair items rather than just replace them. I don't care for this throw away lifestyle. I've spent almost all of my working life repairing things and the last year I worked, the trend changed to "just replace it". So this show has been a God send for me to see that repairing isn't a dead trend. Thank you at BBC for producing it.
