Sydney Crosser

May or may not have spoilers so read with caution but this book annoyed me. First and foremost it jumped all over the place and kept emphasizing on Caseys drinking. Would have loved more in depth relationship building with Boone. Casey came off as intrusive and slightly annoying. The ending was just as disappointing as the beginning. The way the book jumped all around just for it to lead into the "possessing" part definitely gave you an eye roll moment. The only reason I'm not giving this book a 1 ⭐ is because it does surprise you on who you think is the culprit, even though you know who it is, if you read it this will make sense. Other then that, it was a slow read, hard to keep up and bounced all over the place. Love Riley, but this wasn't his best work. The writing came off lazy and the plot twist ruined a already bad book.
