I liked this book alot, because I've been studying about World War II, too. This inspired me to open the world of World War II, and even now, I'm learning about The Nazis and The Resistances. I never thought a simple children's book like Number the Stars would affect life. This book also gave me courage, because Annemarie wasn't that brave at the start of the book, but towards the end she was. I would never forget such a book like this one. But I'm kind of sad that Peter Neilsen died at the end of the book. It was so shocking that I scrunched up my face in an ugly tune.
