This is a Shakespearean tragedy, not a 007 movie.

I'm a big fan on the book and it feels like I have come a long way with the characters in the book. So the changes made in the show to the personalities of these characters does not work for me. E.g. Egwene and Rand having sex - prim and proper "book" Egwene would never do this. Lan smiling? Every description in the books refers to Lan as being stony faced. Perrin married in the first episode to a "Laila" (character not in the book) and then accidentally killing her with an axe? Mat a petty thief? To mention only a few. It is a great show and it is very well done just very different from the books and that is why I'm not giving it five stars.

Can't get enough of Bridgerton!

If you have read and loved the book, the movie is going to be a disappointment. Some of the most beloved characters lost their charm, including the garden.
